The artifact which is the source of my power will not be kept on the Mountain of Despair beyond the River of Fire guarded by the Dragons of Eternity. It will be in my safe-deposit box. The same applies to the object which is my one weakness

Aldro looked over the map, it had been a few weeks but they were almost there. They had to sneak because they were deep behind enemy lines but that made all the more sense why it was here. Vess was to smart to leave it in a random location. His power source would be at the farthest location from the front line, or exactly in the middle.
He had gotten information from his source that Vess and Rivatha would be wage a war on the front line and would be to busy to pay attention to them.
“Are you sure this is the right way?” Tatir said, looking over his shoulder. Trying to figure out the map herself.
“Yeah, I’m sure. This is the map our teammate got out of Vess’ evil lair. He almost lost his arm getting this out of their castle. We need to get there, it’S the only way to stop Vess.”
“So what are we looking for?”
“There should be a ruin castle around here somewhere it should be in the highest tower, it will take a bit of work but we can do this.”
A little farther north they finally got to the castle. The bridge was breaking and once they got past it the thing fell, leaving a huge pit surrounding the castle. “Well once we get this thing how are we going to get back over?”
“Look, we'll figure that out. The important thing is that we get this item and break it.”
“Item? What are we even looking for?”
Aldro shook his head as they entered the castle, “I don’t know. But Kilo said it was the source of Vess’ power. Once we break it Vess will know what happened and will come here to see. We can then use this place to ambush them and defeat them once and for all.” Tatir nodded as they started to look for the tower.
It took them about a half an hour to figure out where the tower they needed to climb was and another to actually get up, having to take a break every once in awhile to catch their breath. It was more climbing then walking up stairs as parts had fallen away since they hadn't been used. Aldro took a small breath of relief his shoulders slumping when he saw a wooden box in the middle of the room on the highest floor. They could see pretty far away through the giant hole in the wall behind it.
“Look there it is. See this wasn’t a waste.” With a small laugh, Aldro headed towards the box and opened it. His smile dropped when all he saw was a scroll of paper. He took it out to read what it said Well, Well so you thought you could take the source of my power and use it against me? Like I would ever let that happen.
I hope you found this well enough, it would have been a lot of wasted time on Kilo’s part if you didn't.
The source of my power is safely tucked away in a place you can’t even reach. The only people who can get into the box are me and Riv. Neither of us would willingly tell anyone where it is. You better stop trying to go against me….well if you can even leave. “So…” Tatir said trying to look over Aldro’s shoulder.
He crumpled the paper up and threw it on ground. “It doesn’t matter. We need to find a way out of here.”
Tatir used the whole in the wall to look at the way they came. "And how do you suppose we do that?"
"There is probably enough wood to make a bridge. We just have to find it." Tatir sighed as she followed Aldro to the stairs again hoping she would see anyone but him again.
