It was just Vess and Aldro fighting in the main hall. Rivatha had taken Luir to go get fixed up for the cut Aldro had given him and Kilo was looking for Tatir who he knew was hiding somewhere in the base.
“You're pretty good.” Aldro growled annoyed he hadn’t been able to kill Vess even though they were fighting one on one.
“Oh I know, the others say I’m the best with melee weapons.”
“To bad it won’t keep you alive huh?”
“Oh why is that?” Aldro stood tall with a smirk on his lips, before he could say anything Vess swung at him hitting his weapon hand. Aldro cried out in pain as he fell to his knees holding his hand. “Oh did I interrupt you? I’m sorry I didn’t know I wasn’t suppose to.”
Once Aldro had gotten himself under control he glared up at Vess. "If you didn't want to know why did you ask?"
Vess shrugged, "to distract you of course."
Vess took a step towards him and Aldro shimmied back still clutching his hand, "wait I know something you don't."
Vess shrugged, "once we find tatir it won't be unknown for long." Before Aldro could say anything Vess finished him off. Once he was sure Aldro was dead he headed to the door to help which ever of the others needed it.
