With that the light went off, and everyone was silent. Once it came on again, the clouds above were gone and Gusdio was now standing in the center. Menda clapped along with the rest of the audience as the circus set up their next act. There were two more acts before the show was over. She joined the audience in giving them a standing ovation.  She sat back down, waiting for the people to leave before heading out herself when she saw Roziy waving her over.

"Were you here for Denre?"

Menda shook her head. "No, I was just in town and decided to come and see."

"Oh good, she has been overworking herself recently, so Gusdio put her on bed rest."

Menda frowned. "I hope she's okay."

Roziy nodded. "She has been trying to take the pressure off of Calren, so she has been staying up late at night to make our clothes." Roziy pulled out his vest so she could better see the stars that were embroidered beautifully on it. "Don't get me wrong, the new clothes are beautiful, and giving Calren the time to embroider is good, but Denre needs to sleep some more." Roziy sighed.

Menda nodded. "Alright. I'll come see her as I'm leaving town."

"Got it."

Menda then smirked. "Getting tired of telling my story already?"

Roziy shook his head. "I've been telling it for a while, but people still request it. People just love a good cursed tale, so I switch between a few every night so the act doesn't get stale."

Menda blinked. "So you don't believe what you showed off tonight?"

Roziy gasped dramatically. "I never said that. I believe every story I tell."

Menda laughed. “Well, I need to go. I need to get up early to see the council.”

“Did you get a ticket already? Gusdio was really annoyed with that process.”

Menda nodded. “I remembered from the last time I was here.”

She left soon after with a quick wave before heading back to her inn.
